The Better Beer Bar at Hotel Palace offers over 100 different Belgian beers, all served in style.
Every year, in the last weekend of October (from 4 till 11 pm) the Beer Taste Festival is organised in the former cinema of the hotel. Up to 80 different beers can be tasted.
Free entrance, but tickets to taste a beer cost 1 € each. This event is organised by the Beer Tasters' Society of Poperinge, in collaboration with the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and PINT.
